"A man who's warm can't understand a man who's freezing." - p. 110
Not only is this quote completely true, but it also causes the reader to think critically about it. While the prisoners have been freezing for months and still been forced to work beyond the point, some people such as Tsezar who have freedom of speech and is allowed to have warm clothes does not experience what the prisoners have gone through and therefor will never be able to understand it. This can also be seen in real life experiences such as the following: as much as we (the fortunate) feel bad for the people that have no homes and no food to eat, we will never understand what goes on in their heads or what they have to do to not die. We can't understand their lives because we don't live it.
